Ronda

What a unique city, surrounded by history, legends, and bullfighters.

Ronda

The views are non-stop in Ronda.  We are pretty sure no matter where you walk, it is uphill.  Puente Nuevo, is an incredible stone bridge spanning a gorge which divides the city.  The views from the top and then from the bottom are worth are worth the walk.

The 18th Century bullring is an architecturally amazing, even if bullfighting isn't our thing.

All of the hotels have been lovely, but the Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel is a tourist attraction all on it's own.  Each room is unique.  We had a balcony overlooking a courtyard--we felt like lottery winners!
What did we learn?
1.  It's so fun to wander the streets and back alleys, but you can get a bit turned around.  And when everything is uphill, make sure you have some water and good shoes.
2.  Can I just drink more sherry on our balcony, please?
